Lake District
The lake District national park is a must see. Its located in Cumbria, Northwest England and if you like nature and hiking then this is the place you want to visit. The lake district is also home to the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike. There are many scenic lakes and mountains you can visit. The lake District is also know for its famous Poets one of which being Beatrix Potter.
Dorset
Heading to the South West of England lies one of the Worlds Heritage sites on the English Channels, the Jurassic Coast. It’s about 96 miles long, stretching from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset. The Jurassic Coast is most famous for 2 of its landmarks, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. These 2 beaches have some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen, perfect for snorkelling.
Isle of Portland
This small island is located in the English channel of Dorset, its 6 kilometres long by 2.7 kilometres wide. It would take you 15 minutes to dive from one end to the other. Portland Harbour is on of the biggest harbours in the world. You can spend the day exploring this island and is famous Chesil Beach which is an 18 mile long shingle barrier beach stretching from West Bay to Portland, connecting the isle to the mainland.
Cornwall
Continuing further along the coastline of South West England is Cornwall, your going to feel like your in Spain. The water is so blue and there are so many places and beaches to visit. Cornwall is famous for a few things, such as their spectacular beaches and their Cornish Pasties. If you are in Cornwall you should visit a few of there landmarks, St Michaels Mount a tidal Island and Land’s End the most jagged edge of the country.
