This 2 star hotel has left us speechless, for the price we paid we were not expecting how magnificent the room and service was going to be at B2. We turned up early and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They told us early check-in is an addition cost of a 100 THB per hour which we had no problem paying but they ended up checking us in early for free.
Location
This hotel is in the perfect location right in the centre of Chiang Rai and no more than a 10 minute drive away are the main attractions and temples. If you are staying here its best you hire out a Mo-Ped or a Grab taxi will do just fine. It is way cheaper to get around with Grab in Chiang Rai than other cities in Thailand. There are local markets just a walk away from B2. Perfect for finding some traditional street food.
Superior Room
The minute you open the door you are hit with a soft aromatic smell, the room is presented simply but beautifully. It was absolutely spotless. You get your basic amenities and complimentary water and fresh white towels. The bed is soft and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of Temple hopping. The house keeper is a friendly lady, we had the do not disturb sign on our door so she left fresh towels and bottles off water outside for us.
Facilities
At the reception they offer a selection of tea and coffee. We did not eat at the restaurant so we cannot comment on that. B2 does offer motor bike rentals at a fair price and has tones of information on tours in Chiang Rai.
Summary
This hotel we can say with out thinking twice, we would definitely be staying her again. Its so convenient to get to where your going from B2 Hotel, lovely staff and good value for money. Hotel 2/8 on our trip to Thailand!
