5 Star Luxury Cruise Halong Bay – Genesis Regal Cruise

The Genesis Luxury Regal Cruise was the one we chose to spend 3 days and 2 nights for my birthday. Did I mention we will be cruising and exploring one of the wonders of the world Halong Bay, Vietnam? The Genesis Regal Cruise is one of the finest you’ll find in Halong Bay, from fine dining to services to your door, it includes all your meals, English speaking guide, and entrance and sightseeing fees. The ship has only 20 rooms and is very spacious to ensure private spaces and complete service to their guest. Here is everything we got up to on this cruise.

Genesis Regal Cruise

Transport

The Genesis Regal Cruise Check-in office is located in Halong Bay, only 2 hours from the main city of Hanoi. For an additional cost of around 30USD per person, you can get a return shuttle bus.

Room 101

JUNIOR SUITE WITH FULL OCEAN VIEW & PRIVATE BALCONY

This room was located on the first floor, it had its own private balcony, bathtub & shower, full-frame windows with ocean views, full HD TV, tea & coffee complimentary. This was one of the small rooms and honestly, it was very spacious we did not feel like we were on a boat at all.

Cost varies depending on what room you pick and the time of year. We paid 770USD, this was through a tour in Vietnam due to me needing a visa company I’m sure you can find cheaper deals on Booking.com and Agoda.com

Activities

  • Not everyone is going to do the same activities only guest staying 3 days and 2 night is going to have a private tour away from the rest of the guest you will be whizzed away in a private speed boat to your Cat Ba Island. On Cat Ba Island you will have the choice to ride around with your own guide and explore this remote Island or get driven around in a gold kart, your choice. After that, you will be taken to a private beach where you can swim before returning to the cruise.
