The Privilege Residents is a 4 star hotel on booking.com, but can easily pass as a 5 star. It is just stunning, it overlooks the whole of Patong beach and the sunsets here are breathtaking. This place is luxury. TAKE ME BACK!!
Location
The Privilege Residents Hotel is situated just a 5 minute drive from Patong Beach and the night life. Yes it’s not far from the famous Bangla Road, you can even walk this whilst taking in the scenery. We highly recommend renting out a Moped, (legally of course) the police in Phuket are no joke, they will pull you over. You can find out how to get your international license in our Transport in Thailand Blog. There is so many beaches and temples to see, so go explore. Phuket’s old town and monkey hill is only a 25 minute drive away.
Room – Suit 9
After trekking up 3 buildings from the reception, our suit was at the highest peak of The Privilege Residents. This spacious apartment comes with its own private bath on the balcony, which was absolutely perfect to watch the sunset. The apartment was open and airy with a big living room and a king size bed in the bedroom with lots of storage space. The bathroom was just as amazing, it had a separate shower and Jacuzzi bath perfect for soaking in after those long nights partying on Bangla Road. It also had a clean and fully equip working kitchen. The apartment came with its own amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel and the fridge had complimentary alcohol, soft drinks and bottled water. Not something your average hotel provides!
Facilities
The Privilege Residents Hotel has a roof top pool with the most perfect view of Phuket along with a gym. There is free parking in whichever building you are located in. The hotel offers a rang of tours and moped rentals. It does not have a restaurant as your apartment has its own kitchen.
Staff
The staff are so friendly and ready to provide excellent service, you are greeted at the reception and taken on a tour throughout the hotel and to your apartment. There is also security at the door entrance of the car park, always giving a helping hand with the doors.
Summary
Would we stay here again? Of course we would! This hotel is Luxury at its finest. The service we received was top quality. I would expect this hotel to be at a higher price but it wasn’t, paying under £80 for the two nights we stayed here. How cheap is that? Hotel 6/8 Thailand.
