Black Sheep Glamping – Hot Tub Luxury Glamping Wales

Evelyn’s Hide-out has got to be the ultimate winter break, the perfect break into the Welsh mountainside surrounded by rural mountain landscapes & our 700 strong flocks of sheep. We booked this place on Airbnb but they do have a direct site – Black Sheep Glaming.

Location

Couldn’t complain about the location, 25-minute drive from the nearest city of Swansea and 2 miles to the nearest neighbor. You have a perfect signal out there but it eases to escape away from the busy city but yet be so close to it. The view is endless and you can’t get a better sunrise from your bed. The beautiful Harbour town Tenby is 1 hour away and in the opposite direction the in Cardiff the capital of wales, only 1 hour away.

Room – Container – Evelyn’s Hide

We have not stayed in the other 2 containers but would definitely like to, one of them has a bathtub on the roof but the one we stayed in seemed to be the most private. This is such a brilliant idea to have a modern room with a 270-degree view right from your bed, fitted with a shower, toilet, heating, and a fully equipped kitchen. one of the best features is the deck out front with a swing, bbq, and a wood-burning hut tube. Although it took ages to heat up the water – bearing in mind it was one of the coldest weeks, it was amazing. I managed to cook a full-on surf and turf meal and then finish my night off with champagne in the hot tub gazing at the stars.

Check-In – Host

This is a self-check-in accommodation with a lockbox. Our host provided us with the lockbox code before arriving at the property. We had no issues getting in, very easy to find and access the property with great direction from our host Lizhan. She provided us with fantastic service. The power in the glamp had tripped & her responses were super-fast and helpful.

Summary

If you want to escape the city but don’t want to travel 100’s of miles, I will definitely recommend this place. This was my birthday getaway and I loved every moment of this glamping experience. If I am ever in South Wales again I would definitely visit this place again.
