If you want dirt cheap flights, Ryanair is where you need to look but don’t be fooled… they are cheap for a reason.
Ryanair does have friendly staff and their services on the actual flight are good, but unfortunately if you’re looking for comfort, luxury or anything remotely acceptable this is not the airline for you. The chairs are crammed together leaving little to no leg room or arm space, the air craft itself is very small and feels as if you’re being herded into a cage like sheep. As you can imagine, it is very uncomfortable and quite awkward. BUT this is why Ryanair are able to slap up these crazy cheap price tags ranging as low as £10 for a one way flight.
Food and drinks are available at a charge as with most low budget airlines. We did order a snack and I must say it wasn’t terrible as far as plane food goes and they offer the usual drinks like soda, juice and alcoholic beverages.
At the time we travelled there were no fees for bringing hand luggage on board which is what you would expect from an airline. I guess Ryanair had to find a way to make their money back for the cheap flights so now there is a charge for hand luggage. Glad you found this helpful! It is unfortunate about the airline as they have got great prices. We would say April is the cheapest time to travel to Spain, we paid £100 for a 4 day trip which included our flights, hotel & transfer!
