There are fun adventures to explore in North Wales. I honestly just thought we were going to go there and hike the famous mountain of Snowdonia. After a bit of research I found some cool stuff to do.
What to do in wales?
Zip World
Check out the adrenaline rush zip lines at Zip World, there are 3 location to this park. Zip World Forest, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry and Zip World Slate Caverns. We only had time for 2 parks and unfortunately not everything was open due to COVID-19. But we still had a blast and was able to do most of the things we wanted apart from Velocity, as in peak season tickets are £90 per person, where as low season is only £65. However we will be back to conquer the worlds fastest zip line one day.
Infinity Pool
Finding the secret infinity pool is on of the coolest thing about North Wales. This is a man made infinity pool hidden away in the mountains of Snowdonia. Its unique vibe is perfect to hang out with some friends taking in the views. But I must say I froze my ass off. Its not the easiest place to find, after hours of research we found it on google maps. So if you want the location head over to our Youtube channel Leap Travellers for all the information and steps on how to find it.
Snowdonia
The reason we visited Snowdonia was to hike to the Snowdon Summit, the second highest mountain in the UK. We have never really hiked before but July was the perfect time of the year to do it, the weather was nice and we didn’t have to worry about fog ruining the view.
Llandudno Beach
30 minutes away is the seaside of Llandudno Beach. Its got lots of things to do there, cable carts, skiing, a snowboard centre and of course Llandudno Beach pier. This place has a variety of restaurants to choose from, our favourite places to dine at was Yummy Thai Food Cafe. You can even BBQ on the beach if you don’t fancy dinning out.
Would we return?
One thousand percent, we would absolutely head back to the North of Wales. Its gotta be our favourite place in the UK and we will definitely be back to conquer Velocity and explore the rest of wales but for now its on wards and up wards to the North West of England.
