Watching all these travel Youtubers quit their 9-5 jobs (Lost leblanc, Chase for Adventures, etc), to travel the world seems so easy. But for us that’s not an option. Working a 9-5 Job & travelling as not going to be easy and we did not quite know where to start.
Annual Leave
So we are entitled to 20 days off a year which we try to split up into 4 parts. This will allow us to do 4 small trips. Although that can sometimes work out to be a lot of money especially, if your travelling in Europe. The other option will allow us to take one small trip and a big trip out of Europe. Don’t forget the weekend, this allows us additional time to add to our trips. Knowing that we have to get permission to take time off, to do what we love is absurd. We hate the idea of not being able to catch a flight when we want.
THE WHAT IF?
Their is a number of things holding us back from quitting our 9-5 jobs and travelling!
We have a few loans that we have almost paid of. Then there is our possessions, it sounds silly but we find it hard to get rid of the things we worked so hard for. Money is one of our biggest worries. How do we make an income travelling and what if it does not work out, what then? We’d have sold everything and then have nothing to go back to. These are the questions we constantly find ourselves asking each other.
Our Plans
Our trip to Thailand really opened our eyes. We wanted travel the world for a living. Most peoples ideal dream right. When we got back we thought long and hard about it. We have decided to start saving our money and setup some content online. Antonio loves games so he has decided to start a tech website, selling gaming accessories, along with creating travel vlogs about our personal experiences around the world. And as for myself I have chosen to give you guys some informative blogs about our travel and reviews on who to fly with and the best hotels to stay at. We have also got a few other ideas in the pipeline. So far this is where we are at and how we are working around a 9-5 job and travelling the world.
